Designed to provide child care workers and educators with an insight into detecting possible child abuse by having a greater awareness of indicators. Emergencies happen! How to effectively handle any situation and the importance of communication with parents.
This session involves an interactive component with participants to explore tools and activities designed to minimise the risks, enhance the child's use of their safety networks and develop ongoing communication skills.

'Mind Over Matter - Workplace Safety'
A 'must have' for all members of the business community. An interactive workshop exploring various communication techniques and tools designed to minimise stress in the workplace. You will learn new skills to effectively deal with emergency situations, abuse against members of the work force and/or public. This session explores communication skills in dealing with agitated or difficult people. You will learn how body position and area layout can used within the general workplace to minimise the risk of harm.
'I am a Professional Carer'
A seminar designed for professionals and educators dealing with children and the elderly. This session provides an insight into detecting any type of possible abuse by having a greater awareness of indicators. The session provides professionals with an array of tools and activities designed to minimise risk. We discuss emergency procedures, family communication and the importance of communication techniques.
