Due to recent changes in legislation every course now has a minimal time frame set for the undertaking of a course. If you complete the course under this time frame then it indicates to us that you have not completed the course correctly and have flicked through several pages without reading the content.
In your role as a person working with children it is imperative that you have an understanding of laws / legislation and requirements in relation to identifying and reporting child abuse. Under the National Quality Framework you are required, as part of your employment, to successfully complete this training on a regular basis. The successful completion means that you are required to read all provided material. You also have a civil duty of care, which you are not fulfilling, by completing the course under the set time. Please make sure you read the course content thoroughly. If the course is completed under the required time then a certificate WILL NOT be issued.
If you have a question about what you’re learning, or you’re finding something difficult to understand, you can email us at enquiries@insafehands.net.au
