CHILD EMOTIONAL ABUSE

11. Erratic Appetites
Notes:

Information:

Erratic appetites can include:

  • eating hungrily
  • eating hardly at all
  • eating for attention

You might also notice erratic appetites – eating lots or not at all.

You might notice appetites are linked to their emotions – so for example they eat to feel safe and secure, or they use asking for food as an attention seeking behaviour knowing that you as a responsible Carer will respond to that.
