What do we Mean by Documenting?
Notes:
Documenting is simply making a record of something you’ve seen or heard that concerns you about a child.
It can include:
- Written information including
- Forms filled out
- Emails
- Notes on files
- Diary entries
- Photographs
- Audio and Video Recordings
Information:
When we talk about documenting we are talking about any method you use to make a record of information you’ve found or concerns you have about a child or their family because of something you’ve seen or heard.
Documenting can include different types of written information such as forms, emails, file notes or diary entries. It can also include audio recordings of conversations or notes, and video recordings.
