Course Description: This course assists School Teachers in NEW SOUTH WALES (Years Prep-12) meet their duty of care obligations regarding Child Protection and assists them in understanding their requirements as Mandatory Reporters under NSW Child Protection legislation. Upon successful completion, participants will be equipped with basic Child Protection skills sufficient to enable them to appreciate the importance of Child Protection, understand their legal obligations in relation to providing Child Protection, recognise indicators of child abuse, and notify concerns appropriately.

Course duration: 2 hours
Pre-Requisites: Nil
Learning Assessment: Multiple choice questions through the course. No further study or assessment.
Certificate: Available for download at the time of successful completion of the online learning.
